Who Are We?
KHSS is a full-time Catholic radio station in Walla Walla, Washington, USA. We are members of the Catholic Radio Association and the Lay Catholic Broadcasting Network. We are an affiliate of the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), but we also broadcast programs from the Ave Maria satellite network and from our own library of Catholic material.
Holy Spirit Sanctifier Catholic Radio
The KHSS studios in downtown Walla Walla are also the home of Holy Spirit Sanctifier Catholic Radio (HSSCR), a non-profit corporation whose soul mission is to bring Catholic Radio to communities in the northwestern United States. HSSCR has assisted in bringing Catholic Radio to Seattle, Boise and Yakima, and has built low-power FM (LPFM) radio stations in Hermiston and Clarkston/Lewiston and Walla Walla (Spanish). Radio stations in other communities are in the works. Stay tuned for more details.
KHSS Signal Upgrade
On February 10, 2010, KQFM finally completed their move to 100.1 FM, opening the way for KHSS to begin broadcasting on its 50,000 watt signal. We turned the new signal on at 2:10 PM on 2/10/2010. Please share with us if you can hear any difference in the signal reception in your area.
